How can we say it more simply than our classes are fun, casual and informative!

Many students sign up for class after class.  Never really willing to give up their seat. Why?  Because the classes are reasonable in cost and students learn to make all types of stained glass. Items including suncatchers, windows, lamps and three dimensional projects!

While in class, students "bond" with each other while offering help and support with each others projects. At Cubby's, we promote sharing with each other.  Sharing things like patterns, glass, materials, time and more.

New students and advanced students sometimes work within the same class. We've found that very helpful for new students needing a little help when the instructor is busy helping another student.  More advanced students are always willing to help new students.

We run classes for 8 -10 weeks, a couple of nights a week, from 6pm till 8:30pm (normally Tuesdays and Wednesdays). We also have at least one daytime class. The daytime classes normally start at 10:00am and run until 12:30.

New students can expect to make something simple at first, like a flower or bird suncatcher.  After that, another simple project, but a little more difficult that the first.  After that, you will make something a little more challenging than the last.  Once your feeling good about your skills, you can move onto almost any project you would like to make. Many times people make 3-5 projects in a ten-week class.  You will make more or less, depending on your skills, speed and what you want to create.

Classes run around $10.00 per class. Example : signing up for eight weeks is $80.00 .You will need to bring either your own  supplies or you can buy them from us.  Basic consumable supplies run around $40.00.

The actual glass itself is normally not included.  However, glass will be supplied for your first project.  After that, you will need to purchase stained glass.  Here, at Cubby's, we have small and large pieces of stained glass available to buy.  These pieces start at around fifty cents and go up from there.  That way you don't have to spend much on glass, unless YOU want too.

The classes are limited to eight students.  Classes do fill up, regularly.  Please call soon and ask what times and days are available.  If the classes are full when you call, please ask us about schedule additional classes to meet your needs.  Private lessons are available.
